About Me

About Me

Valentina Forte-Hernandez

My work revolves are examining how creative forms of digital media can simultaneously question, and propagate a toxic status quo. As an author I assess the ways existing works of film and literature reflect the societies they were created in. As an artist and filmmaker I focus on my personal experience by exploring how my perception has been shaped by visual culture. As an educator I aim to embolden artists of all mediums who feel unheard or illegitimized in academic and creative settings.
